Full of lots of cool navy memorabilia!
We had an opportunity to visit after hurricane Irma. The speed in recovery was phenomenal with support from the local community and Sub Base sailors. This museum has an incredible amount of memorabilia from many generations.
Liked the movie about life on submarines, and how they operate. Gets you interested to learn more. Cool periscope and various submarine stuff. Well worth the visit.
Terrific and children would learn so much. Would have stayed longer in that delightful St. Mary's. But was pouring down rain.
Hidden Gemini, by far this place is awesome, and the caretaker (sorry I can't remember her name, was very well informed about everything in the museum.) She told me another tibit about the town, painted inspirational rocks are found just lying around. Also told of the Web page that I could look at, forgot that too. Great time
