We just had a scary incident with Delilah, our chihuahua puppy, where she suddenly went completely lethargic and wouldn't eat. She drank some water but then threw it up with some bile. We couldn't really get her to respond to any of her normal stimuli and we were freaked the freak out. Her normal vet was out so we called Animal Medical Clinic and they told us to come right in. When we got there they took us back almost immediately and started checking up on her. Dr. Dutta was AHH-MAZING. She took her time with her and made us feel very comfortable. Turns out it was a low blood sugar episode and was easily fixed and now we know to be on the look out in the future. Plus, they didn't charge us an arm and a leg. She seemed genuinely concerned and compassionate and I think I love her now.
Dr. Dutta and staff are so very caring. Dr. Dutta ia very thorough and will persist in finding out what is wrong with an animal. I can attest to this first hand after wondering what the problem was with my dog. After going to a vet for almost three yrs. And not finding what the problem was Dr.Dutta had an idea it might be hormonal. Sent me to an internal specialist and sure enough that was the problem. Taking natural hormones and rubbing cream on my wrist without knowing it was getting on her skin and into her system. Dr. Dutta was on the mark and the specialist asked if I was taking natural hormones and confirmed the problem after taking a urine test. Her hormone level was 119 and should be between 30 and 60. It will take approx.3 mos. for ALL OF US TO BE BACK TO NORMAL...ME INCLUDED.THANKS DR DUTTA from EILEEN CARRAGHER AND OF COURSE MISS PRIM.

Dr. Dutta is absolutely wonderful! So knowledgeable, I always feel good when my dogs are in her hands. And one of the most compassionate vets I've known- she made the death of our beloved 16 year old mini dachshund a beautiful and peaceful experience. The vet techs are great and I love Susan at the front desk. Wouldn't take my pups anywhere else!
