Easy to miss the exit to get here if you're not careful but once you're here the typcial amenities are availabe such as rest rooms, vending machines, water fountains, picnic areas and tourist information. The place is well maintained and outside are a couple of exihbits, a small cannon and a large torpedo probably from the nearby Kings Bay Submarine base. Plenty of parking available and on the way out be careful or you'll headed towards St Mary's instead of the interstate.
Well lit and easy place to rest. Bathrooms are warm and clean.

Exceptional as far as interstate rest areas go. Clean modern facilities, fully staffed tourist information center, lots of parking for all vehicle types and extensive shady picnic areas. Some of the picnic sites are sheltered with grills. Georgia Highway Patrol provides security and seems to keep a really good watch on the area.
Best visitor center every. Make this you stop when head South. Take a pic with Forest Gump, walk under the Wisteria Trees. By far the top notch bathrooms.
