Good service staff knew where to find items
Cashier and bagger and customer service person has constant chit chat and chatter going on while my cashier rang up customers. Watched the 3 customers in front of me never get acknowledged or thanked. Same when she rang me me. I ask the customer service person of she was manger. No, customer service. I told her all of this and she ask who was chatting and I told her all 3 of you. Her answer...that's how we get through the night quicker. Wow!! I tried to explain that paying zero attention to the customers is not a good thing and I was trying to help them do better with customer service and to let them know it's a problem. Her answer...have a good night. Looks like I will start going to Publix all the time.
Always a smile on the employees faces and great 2 for 1 sales on things I buy on a regular basis.
I NEVER give 1 star reviews. Ever. I'm not a complainer, but I had to here. I went into the store today to get some water (hurricane Irma is possibly hitting in 6 or so days). I had my 2 kids with me (age 2 and 5) and am pregnant. I decided to grab a 5 gallon water jug and head for the check out line. It wasn't crowded by any means, but maybe a little more busy. Nothing out of control. I was #4 in line. A woman at checkout had 4 separate transactions so that took a long time. Then, an employee LITERALLY skipped line in front of me and my screaming kids. After 35 minutes (i kept track once dude skipped me) of standing in line with restless kids and a 25 pound jug of water the new cashier didn't know the cost so called the manager over. My daughter was screaming and throwing a fit in my arms so I put my keys down and mumbled "f it". She looked at me and said in a SMART tone "uhm, we are staffed for a regular Tuesday, get over it. He's new. Cut him some slack". I had a melt down. I'm super pregnant, tired and my kids are acting restless. I nodded and bit my tongue and she stared me down. I didn't mention her "staff" skipped me in line to pay for his sweet tea. I promptly told the cashier that I wasn't frustrated at him at all. I was just in line for a really long time and my kids were making it hard. I left and will never go back. I was a very loyal customer. Customers should be taken care of.
It's a friendly store, but it's kind of small. Some items I wanted, they didn't have. But I think overall it's a great store.
