I normally don't post reviews online unless I have a really good or a really bad experience . This breakfast deserved a comment since I had so much time on my hands waiting. The service and didn't feel clean. Upon walking in it was not clear to seat myself or wait until I finally found someone to get the answer. I had to go to the kitchen to ask for service after 10 minutes. Other customers were asking for their bill and while waiting for so long they were saying Bueller, Bueller.... The waitress had sniffles and coughing on the food. I know everyone gets a cold but while you're standing at the table taking orders and constantly sniffing and coughing.....Customers were coming inside from the patio requesting service or asking for their food to be warmed. The ceiling fan was coated in dust. I had to ask several times for silverware. Then she brought one piece at a time and just tossed it on the table. I just got my food, the grits were hot but my over easy eggs were runny and cold and I didn't get the toast that was supposed to come with it. Now I know why people were asking to have their delivered food warm back up. While eating I observed more and more customers asking for service, walking in circles not knowing where to sit, complaining about incorrect bills, going to the kitchen to place their order.
Quaint and quiet, feels like family and food that warms you all over.
I had the biscuits and gravy. Not real impressed. The prices were average. I didn't get the 'wow' I was hoping for.
I enjoy coming here at least once a week for their smoothies, Reuben, potato salad, and yummy fries. I always sit outside when the weather is nice and the waitress there are very kind. The location is historic and beautiful. I love this place. The only thing is it only opens for breakfast and lunch until 2.
Bad first experience.
Wide selection of breakfast options. Super friendly service. Lovely outdoor setting surrounded by greenery and flowers.
