Cute little spot with a great view. Has so much potential. Needs a good fix up and clean up.
Wonderful riverfront location, 100 year old historic hotel. Enjoy the 2nd floor porch.
The staff was very helpful!!! And the proximity to Cumberland Island is perfect. I recommend going in the cooler months as it is an historic building and the window a/c units are a little loud and not terribly efficient. Request room #1 for the best a/c.
Just don't know how quaint, quaint can be. St. Mary's room #14 with the crack in the sink.The formerly broken towel bar in the dresser from another review could be thrown away but I guess it is good in reserve if the new one brakes. Last but not least, the vice grips to control the shower.
Vintage hotel. I've been here twice. They have free breakfast included with your stay. You can also have them pack you lunch if you are visiting Cumberland Island. They are located right in front of the ferry dock. On the weekends, the locals have a open market on the dock. Great community. I will come stay here again.
